Articulated Damsel Nymph 3-Pack

The Articulated Damsel Nymph is another staple carp fly in the Texas Hill Country. It is articulated and has plenty of movement, the tail is basically a woolly bugger with foam so it floats up and wiggles in the currents. It is a little bigger and gets down a little faster than the Scarpion. The foam tail and carapace work in conjunction with a bead hidden in the belly and the bead chain eyes to keep the hook point up and let you bounce the fly along the bottom. It has also fooled plenty of other species – trout, bass, drum, gar, etc.- so try it out for anything you come across on the water!
